This paper provides a framework for modeling outsourcing decisions by using different techniques such as mathematical modeling and multi-criteria decision making methods. The methodologies from these techniques are utilized in a proposed structure of multi-objective optimization problem that can incorporate qualitative and quantitative variables in both discrete and continuous decision spaces. The proposed approach can give the optimum answer to the multidimensional outsourcing problems by including all of the variables leading to the economic and non-economic consequences for the corporation and communities.
