Distributed Process Framework for e-Design

Project status: Complete

Thrust area: New Design Paradigms and Processes

Research team: Nicholas Polys

Using a distributed framework not only allows for the creation of persistent links but also allows for these links to exist beyond the confines of large integrated software environment. The distributed design frame work can serve as the “glue” between separate project workflows operating in parallel. Using Little-JIL interactions between different workflows could be modeled and simulated. This simulation could be used to identify any operation modes which either enhance or hinder efficiency
