To increase system productivity while reducing maintenance cost, it is crucial to develop realtime monitoring systems that enable proactive maintenance. A data-driven and scalable prognostic framework that integrates Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), machine learning and cloud computing has the potential to monitor system conditions and make predictions in real-time.
